Privacy Policy

The short version: TrueKM does not collect your data. Everything you log stays in a database on your own phone. We have no servers, no accounts, no analytics, and no ads.

What the app stores — and where

Your vehicles, expenses, odometer readings, settings, and any photos you attach (receipts, vehicle photos) are stored in a local database inside the app's private storage on your device. This data is never transmitted to us or to any third party by the app.

What we collect

Nothing. TrueKM has no sign-up, no user accounts, no analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, and no crash-reporting service that identifies you.

Permissions the app asks for

• Notifications — only if you keep reminders on, to nudge you to log expenses. Reminders are scheduled locally on your device.
• Camera / photo library — only when you choose to attach a receipt or vehicle photo. Photos are stored inside the app on your device.

You can decline or revoke any permission in system settings; the rest of the app keeps working.

Your data, your export

You can export your expenses as a CSV file at any time from Settings. The export is generated on-device and shared only where you choose to send it.

Data deletion

Deleting a vehicle or expense removes it from the app's database. Uninstalling TrueKM permanently deletes everything the app stored, because it existed only on your device.

Children

TrueKM is a vehicle expense tracker and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of TrueKM ever adds an online feature (for example, optional cloud backup), this policy will be updated first, and any such feature will be opt-in.
